Catching the full moon rise at Balanced Rock in Arches National Park

In photography, good shots can be a matter of dumb luck or the result of planning ahead.  Often some of both.  This shot of the full moon rising next to Balanced Rock in Arches National Park is the most planned successful photo I've ever taken.

Where the hell is roscoe?

Where the hell is Roscoe?  The Grizzly Bar in Roscoe, MT asks this on their popular trademark bumper sticker.  To many adventurers, Roscoe is better known as being the turnoff for the East Rosebud of the Beartooth Mountains than the Grizzly Bar which appears to be about the only establishment at all in the tiny town of Roscoe, which you’ll miss if you blink on the way to the better known resort town of Red Lodge a ways further up the highway.  A long bumpy drive
